Citizenship law

Long waiting times in citizenship procedures or other administrative procedures - How you can achieve results faster with legal support.

Have you been waiting for months - or even years - for a decision on your application for Austrian citizenship from the MA 35 or a district authority? You ask yourself: What can I do? Is a lawyer worthwhile?

If your proceedings are dragging on and you see no prospect of a quick decision, we can support you immediately. As an experienced law firm in the field of Citizenship, aliens law and administrative law we will clarify with you which legal steps are suitable to accelerate the proceedings and enforce a decision.

Our services to speed up naturalisation procedures:

Lawyer contact and official intervention
Often, a written or telephone message to the person in charge will get the process moving. We take care of this communication for you - with vigour and legal expertise.

Appeal by default (in the event of a delayed decision)
If no decision has been made for more than six months since your application, you have the option of lodging an appeal with the Administrative Court. Complaint by default to be submitted. We are therefore setting a deadline of three months for the authorities to make a decision.

Application to set a deadline (in case of delay by the Administrative Court)
For cases in which a Administrative Court (VwG) already has to decide on your matter, but is unduly delayed, we may request a Request to set a deadline and thus create pressure to make a decision.

Strategic case review & individual advice
A „quick decision“ does not always make sense. In some cases, additional documents need to be submitted or formal risks need to be taken into account. We examine your personal circumstances, assess your chances and decide together with you which steps make sense.

Accompaniment to the negotiation
If the MA35 still does not issue a decision after the default complaint and the administrative court becomes responsible, we will be happy to accompany you to the hearing and support you on your way to citizenship.
